This is the lower block girdle hat ties together the three middle main caps. This adds incredible strength to the bottom end. This helps to make more power.

The pistons actually in the block.

You can see the ARP head studs that will hold the head down. The studs clamp the head down better to keep the head gasket from blowing out under high compression.

These are the ARP main studs that hold the main bearing caps down. These are much stronger and will hold more power.

Another view of the main cap girdle from Z-10 Motorsports.

The new steats installed. Much Much better.

There are actually side bolsters to hold you in to the seats while you turn :-).

Mounted front and back to the floor and centered much better to the steering wheel. The best part is that they recline and won't fold you in half if you rear end some one.

The new steering assembly installed. We had to cut and modify the old steering column to accomidate the bigger engine and new steering rack.

The begining of the final engine assembly.

Comparison of the new and the old pistons. The new ones are forged aluminum pieces from JE while the old ones are high pressure cast units from Honda. The forged units are much stronger. The higher dome on the forged unit also means more compression or squish and that means more power YES!

The tops of the pistons.

Comparison of the new and old connecting rods. The new ones are forged steel H-Beam rods from Eagle Specialty Products. Again gorged means dtonger for better power.

You can see just how much more rod there is for holding more power.
